rlss nwsmp level 2

Who is it for?

This National Water Safety Management Level 2 is suitable for those who are working in or supervising others in shallow water. In this case, shallow water is water up to approximately knee to thigh depth but no deeper. Activities in these water types could include pond dipping with groups of students, ecological surveys in waterways, construction staff working on shallow water projects, park rangers and conservation workers and outdoor instructors delivering water activities in shallow water

Course Delivery

The NWSMP is a progressive award, meaning that you need to complete the Level 1 award before or at the same time as completing the Level 2 award.

The Level 2 award is split into 3 different environments, Rivers, Beach and Still water. Each module can be delivered stand-alone or in conjunction with the other environments.
