Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day)

This course is for first aiders in workplaces where a first aid needs assessment has identified that the workplace is a low-risk workplace and has a small number of employees

The minimum age for this course is 14 years of however workplace first aiders must be at least 16 years old

This course is delivered in a classroom with a mix of theory and practical sessions

We use the latest technology including wireless mannequins with real-time feedback to give you the best experience possible

• Resuscitation and AED awareness
• Burns
• Assessment of the situation
• Anatomy
• Choking
• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
• Minor injuries
• Epilepsy
• Basic hygiene in First Aid
• Bleeding control
• Shock

• This course can be delivered at your premises or a suitable local venue can be arranged
• If you have several candidates requiring a combination of 3-Day First Aid at Work and 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work then these 2 courses can be combined with the first day of the 3-day course being the same as the 1-day course
• This course can be split over 2 sessions on separate days reducing the impact of staff downtime on productivity

• Course ratio: Minimum 2, Maximum 12 (larger groups can be accommodated with additional trainers or over multiple sessions)
• Course Venue: This course can be delivered in a classroom as long as there is enough space for practical activities
• Course Duration: 6 hours
