Level 3 Outdoor First Aid (2 days/16 hours)

Who is it for?

This 2 day outdoor first aid course is suitable for outdoor instructors, gamekeeping staff, workers in remote areas and expedition teams. It meets the requirements of all NGBs for first aid training to keep your instructing award valid

The minimum age for this course is 16

Course delivery

DS Event Services Outdoor First Aid courses are delivered using a combination of theory sessions and practical sessions, both indoor and outdoor.

As much of the course as possible will be practical outdoor scenarios which reflect the type of situations candidates may have to respond to and as little time as is required will be spent on 'death by PowerPoint'

All practical sessions and scenarios are set up using a wide range of outdoor equipment as well as the latest technology for mannequins and training equipment

Additional Options

  • Candidates on this course can also receive a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work certificate as well as the Outdoor First Aid certificate.
  • If you have a combination of candidates  requiring 2 day Outdoor first aid, 1 day outdoor first aid and Emergency first aid, these courses can be combined up to a maximum of 12 delegates across all courses
  • This course can also be combined with many of the other training courses we run including ropes course instructor or rescue training courses or water safety training courses 
  • This course can also be split to reduce the impact of staff downtime on productivity

  • Course ratio: Minimum 2, Maximum 12 (larger groups can be accommodated with additional trainers or over multiple sessions)
  • Course Venue: This course requires a venue with an indoor classroom space as well as outdoor areas for practical sessions
  • Course Duration: 16 hours over 2 days
  • Course cost: Dependant on numbers and venue
